OUR FOCUS

The Abuse Network, Inc. is an agency that provides crisis intervention services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other related crimes of interpersonal violence.

Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund (BPF) offers help to ease the burden of unpaid bills and fear of eviction, utility shut offs and other consequences of unpaid bills so cancer patients worry less about their finances and focus their energy on their health, stability and recovery.

The purpose of the Community Connections Programs is to create a community that honors personal dignity, embraces diversity and promotes full inclusion for persons with disabilities.

The Bridges Program is a one-on-one educational program providing classes about healthy pregnancy, infant health, good parenting skills, healthy relationship goals and life skills.

The Paul W. Delauter Youth Center provides a completely free unique, drop-in program for local youth in Juniata County in grades 3-12 and focuses on providing a safe environment for any youth to engage in group physical activities.

The corrective vision program provides eye exams and prescription glasses to those who do not have a means to pay for them and to local nursing home/assisted living unit residents needing glasses on a no-cost basis, since they are on a fixed income. There is also a special program for children who do not pass the preschool and kindergarten registration vision screenings.
