Our mission at United Way of Mifflin-Juniata is to improve people’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community. It is our belief that every person should have the opportunity to gain a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

United Way seeks to create long-lasting changes by collaborating and supporting other community programs. We also support several of the following initiatives that are operated from within our own office. SingleCare is a prescription savings card that helps you get the lowest price on medication at the pharmacy.

Customer who use the SingleCare card save an average of 45% on their prescription purchases.

211PA 2-1-1 is a free, accessible, 3-digit telephone number available to everyone. All residents have easy access to customized health, housing, and human services information in one place. You can call 2-1-1 at any time - it is available as a 24 hour, 7 day a week hotline, a quick and easy resource when you need to find help.
